More precisely, learning things that I never knew were different here. I "know" you from Holly Lisle's WABWM board, and was drawn here by your post on critiques. I'm afraid I share your pain about getting critted by folks I know and like. What a terrific bio! I'd love to learn more about Latvia (which would be easy, since I know next to nothing). I'm an air force brat and we spent quite a bit of time overseas. I can't afford to travel at the moment, but I'm definitely an arm-chair traveler and one of my utterly useless degrees is in Anthropology, so learning about other cultures is at the top of my favorite things list.
