I notice you&#039;ve not been talking about short stories as much lately, what with bigger projects occupying you.  I&#039;d had a question up on HTTS about differentiating between short story &amp; novel ideas and hoped you&#039;d tell about your experience.  Now the thread&#039;s kind of buried, but I was wondering how you know when an idea would be better served by one form over the other.  I have so little experience with both that I just have to kind of randomly pick...
