alien goo

The name of this post comes from that yucky cold and gray thing that was attached to kids’ magazine. I never gave it to kids (it’s too gross and, most likely, dangerous to the lil one) but today, I ended up playing with it for ten minutes or so, shuddering with perverse pleasure. I just have to have this feeling in one of my next stories. (NaNo has aliens in there. Just sayin’.)

Anyhow,
I did 1000+ words today despite being tired to the point where I can’t speak coherently. Apparently, writing is governed by a different muscle. Fine by me.
Also, some work done on NaNo novel (apart from the goo research). I seem to be jumping on the other extreme, from a total pantser I considered myself to be, to an over-planner: I will most likely have twice as much possible plot points than I could possibly use in that novel. However, I think that if I only get one month to write it, an abundance of ideas is better than lack of them.

In other words, I’m fine with myself even though I am not feeling that well.
